Psalm 89:18-20

New International Version

¹⁸ Indeed, our shield^[a](A) belongs to the Lord,
    our king^(B) to the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁹ Once you spoke in a vision,
    to your faithful people you said:
“I have bestowed strength on a warrior;
    I have raised up a young man from among the people.
²⁰ I have found David^(C) my servant;^(D)
    with my sacred oil^(E) I have anointed^(F) him.
